  Welcome to Kindergarten in Room Nine.  We are looking forward to a Rootin' Tootin' time this year with our schoolwide Wild West theme!

Make sure you have turned in ALL necessary paperwork.  This includes copies of: Birth Certificate, Immunization Record, Social Security Card and Eye, Ear & Dental form. If you haven't sent them/dropped them off yet, you may bring them to verification night.

Everyone is expected to join PTA.  Please bring $6.00 cash/check to verification night.  I'm hoping for 100% that night!!

Begin to think about your transportation plan.  We recommend that you begin your plan on the first day of school.  Be aware that the parent pick-up (car riders) line is VERY long.  Look into bus transportation or After School Care if want to take advantage of these options.

​

Field Trips:  

Please remember parents are not allowed to ride the school bus with the children when we go on field trips.  Parents are more than welcome to drive to the venue and meet us there.  I will always have a sign out sheet so that parents may leave the venue with your child if you wish.   

Sack lunches can be provided by the school if you would like.  When packing a field trip lunch, please use disposable containers and a plastic/paper sack so that everything can be thrown away and children and teachers do not have to keep up with and carry a lunchbox around.

Some field trips have very limited seating (CSU Theatre) so parents will not be able to attend with us.

I want to make each field trip a fun and unique experience for my students so I kindly ask you not to bring younger siblings with you if you are joining us on our excursion.  Let this be an opportunity for your kindergartener to have this one on one experience with you.
